Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is perfectly located right in the center, offering everything we needed with awesome staff. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and well-decorated, providing an amazing view of the palace. However, the dining experience, while served with very good options using local products, could have more choices and bigger portions. It's easy to appreciate the concept here, but a few tweaks could elevate the overall experience.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, although filled with 'vintage' furniture, were a bit uncomfortable due to the air conditioning not working, making for some hot nights. On the bright side, having a bathtub in the room was a nice touch. The service was outstanding, with the staff mixing the best cocktails at the gold bar and being very helpful throughout my visit. The location of the hotel is fabulous, close to Den Haag HS and next to the Palace, offering a perfect starting point for exploring the city. However, the dining options were limited and not worth the money, with a poor selection of food available. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
The hotel offers beautiful, clean rooms with excellent amenities but lacks some maintenance. The service is friendly, and the location is near key attractions. Dining has very good options but could be better organized. The facilities are well-equipped.
Staying at this hotel was a unique experience, as it used to be a former bank where they kept the gold bars of the Netherlands. The rooms were very nice and stuffed with 'vintage' furniture, complemented by the enticing Free Mini Bar feature.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms had a beautiful design, but they were not as clean as I would have liked. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was not working during my 3-night stay, leading to some uncomfortable nights. On the bright side, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly.
The hotel is right in the city center, near Paleis Noordeinde, with a perfect location for exploring the city and a nice building with an accessible central bank vault. The rooms were a bit noisy if located at the front, basic with some missing amenities like English tea bags, and the air conditioning didn't work during my stay leading to some uncomfortable nights. The service from the staff was friendly and helpful, handling many tasks well, although some individuals might not be suited for public-facing roles.
